Our Women of Purpose Ministry offers various events and studies that are designed to encourage women in their pursuit of a Christ-centered life by providing opportunities to discover meaning, passion, and purpose. We give women of all ages an opportunity to connect and develop friendships that will last a lifetime.
Ministry Opportunities
Every single person, regardless of makeup or personality, want to be loved. We want to feel welcomed and find community. That’s exactly what we want you to find in our Women Of Purpose ministry. It’s all about becoming God’s best version of you. Our vision is clear…it’s prayerfully seeking to fulfill Christ’s mission by encouraging each other to become all they are to be in Christ. In order to do that we suggest that you get plugged in right away! Listed below are a few of the ministry opportunities that we offer:
Are you interested in being mentored by an older woman? Do you desire to invest in the lives of younger women? If so, our Mentoring Ministry may be just for you!
This is a women’s group that meets at the church every Tuesday at 9:30am to pray for our country, government, community and church. To be a part of this group please contact Nancy Yerby.
This is just another way for God’s women to make an impact. We go out every other Tuesday at 10:30am to visit our homebound and church members. It’s about touching lives. If you want be a part please contact Nancy Yerby.
Every month, our moms meet for a Bible study and a time of teaching, sharing, and fellowship. Join us as we work through different Bible studies that pertain to our every day life. We are currently in a Bible study entitled “Made To Crave.”
We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. For your convenience, child care is provided during our meetings. Come and experience this journey together…Mom to Mom. For More Information please contact Kristi Goldsmith.

Why Bible Studies?
Bible studies are essential to our understanding of not only God, but ourselves as well. Without God’s Word we would be purposeless and detached from our call and purpose. Our Bible studies are designed specifically for women, designed to help you grow in your relationship to God and get practical, biblical perspectives on marriage, family, work, and more! Listed below are some of the Bible Studies that we offer. We really hope that you can find a way to be a part!
Discovering God’s Will for Your Life is a new topical guide from the Women of Faith series. Reaching an audience across race, socio-economic, denominational, and age boundaries, these guides will enhance the lives of women in America as they empower them in their weekly devotions. This study guide can be used for both individual and group settings. Women are asking good questions about their faith. With this study guide, we want to join them in their quest for knowledge and lead them in finding the answers they are seeking.
Join us in the Fall/Winter beginning October 16th at 6:30pm as we explore this series. We will meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings each month.
Annual Events
Our ministry stays pretty busy with community outreach, workshops, Bible studies, small groups, etc. But there are several annual events that have proven to be some of our favorites. They are listed below:
Join us for a kick off lunch in the fall October 1st at 11am. Here we offer a wonderful opportunity to get involved with Women of Purpose. Meet other women and fellowship.
Christmas Tour of Homes- come go with us to tour the homes of other women in our church. Enjoy testimonies, decorations, food and fellowship.
Mothers and others banquet, celebrate mom with us at brunch. All ladies invited to bring your mom, or a guest, enjoy a guest speaker, praise and worship.
Where To Turn For Help…
We think it’s essential that each ministry have a great leadership team. It’s been said that a ministry is only as strong as it’s leaders and if that’s true…we are extremely strong! Our leadership team consists of women that you can turn to for help, spiritual guidance, support, and prayer. We also think it’s very important that you relate to at least one person in this group. That’s why our team also consists of women from each season of life, working together to bring all women closer to Christ.
